Regarding marriage in Islam:

1. A Muslim man can marry a Muslim, Christian or Jew and no one else of other beliefs, while a Muslim woman can only be married to a true Muslim.

2. In Islam, a Muslim can be married up to four wives on condition that he treats all of his wives fairly. Marrying up to four is allowed in Islam to prevent adultery, divorce and so that all women get to be legally married to a man since the number of women on earth are greater than that of men. Allah knows best.

3. A Muslim woman cannot be married without her agreement and permission. Thus, there is no forced marriages in Islam.

4. A righteous Muslim woman is among the best treasures a Muslim can have.

5. Why did the Messenger Muhammad sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam marry more than four? To teach Muslims whom they are allowed to marry in Islam. Allah knows best :)

May Allah the Most Merciful accept all our good deeds and forgive our faults. Ameen~
