In the Name of Allah
The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
In this poem of twenty lines I share
Some quick tips on how not to get jealous -
Of satan's evil trait 'envy' beware,
To follow his ways is indeed heinous.
When Allah gives good things to some people,
Such 'good things' may not be blessings for some -
They may be sent by God as a trial,
As a test to see if they will thank Him.
If those gifts are rewards from God indeed,
Then know that God can give to whom He wills,
Perhaps such good things they deserve or need,
Or they prayed hard for them -du'as fulfilled.
Or such blessings God knows can be of use,
Like art or speech to call men to God's Way,
Wealth for charity or masjids and schools -
The best of all gifts: Islam, the true faith.
As for unbelievers, don't envy them -
Materialistic things can't be compared
To the gifts Allah promised for Muslims:
Entry to Heaven -a goal we all share.

~May Allah the Most Merciful make us among His righteous friends whom He will love to welcome in Firdaus/Heaven near Him and His beloved Messenger Muhammad sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Ameen.
