POEM: What Does It Mean To Be Filipino And Muslim? (Acrostic Poem)

In the Name of Allah
The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

If one were to ask, 'What does it mean
To be a Filipino Muslim?'
I'd say, 'Avoid nationalism',
But if one must answer such question,
You may share this acrostic poem:

Friendly in general, fabulously fun,
Interested in faith and setting things right,
Love God and justice, loathe those who are unkind,
Intending good, worshiping God day and night,
Properly well-mannered, observant and wise,
Impeccably willing to improve and guide,
Neat, knowing how to arrange and organize,
Original and inventive, with God's Light.

Merciful, just and cheerful for Allah's sake,
United with Muslims from every country,
Share what you can share, do good deeds aplenty,
Look forward to meeting God the Almighty,
Invite to Islam, worship God sincerely,
May Allah welcome us in Heaven by His Mercy.
