In The Name Of Allah
The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
Allah the Almighty commanded us
To avoid teasing and vain mockery.
As Allah's servants, don't think you're the best,
Don't deny your flaws and deficiencies.
Loathsome it is to name-call and misjudge,
To obnoxiously make fun of others.
Jealous are those who ridicule with grudge.
Sure of themselves - who lift one another.
Don't make fun of some for being plus-size,
For seeming poor, unkempt, weird or just plain -
Your claims may haunt you and you'll realize
That they're better than you in myriad ways.
Allah and His Angels - we're on their side,
With God we mock satan's envious lies.
To avoid teasing and vain mockery.
As Allah's servants, don't think you're the best,
Don't deny your flaws and deficiencies.
Loathsome it is to name-call and misjudge,

3 Facts About Making Fun Of People:
1. Making fun of others is childish and is a bad habit of the insecure or jealous.
2. Don't ridicule some people for something they can't change like how Allah created them.
Never misjudge without knowing their whole story. Otherwise you're the ignorant one who was brought up despicably by uneducated folks who were that inadequate at teaching you good manners.
3. What you make fun of, as well as your wrongdoings, may Insha-Allah find their way back to you if your teasing was uncalled-for or unjust, in this world and/or on Judgment Day.
Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam advised us saying, “Do not express malicious joy towards a Muslim brother or sister's misfortune, for Allah may have mercy on him/her and you may be stricken by the very thing you made fun of.”
(Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi)
