SONNET: When Some Have Found Allah's Way Don't Judge Their Past Mistakes

In The Name Of Allah
The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

When some Muslims have returned to Allah,
Found His Light and love His Prophet's Sunnah,
And repented sincerely from a sin,
To forgive their past mistakes be willing.

The past does not truly define someone,
What can are lessons learned and good deeds done.
Anyone can err. No one is perfect,
Except for Allah Who knows who's guided.

Don't judge me for sins I no longer do,
Nor think wrong ideas I hold onto.
Alhamdulillah for learning Islam
And for being able to understand.

If Allah Wills, the worst can turn into
His best allies - Muslims whose faith stay true.

Allah can guide even the most sinful unbeliever back to Islam and make him among His best defenders like He guided the companions of the noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam including Abu Bakr As-Siddiq, 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab, Khalid ibn Al-Walid, Abu Sufyan and Salman Al-Farisi. Allah the Most Merciful, the Most Wise and the Most Just guides whom He Wills to His Way.

It was narrated that Allah's Noble Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Allah, the Almighty, said: ‘O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you and I would not mind." [Sahih Bukhari]

The beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam also taught us that "The one who has sincerely repented for Allah's sake and stopped commiting a sin is like the one who never committed that sin in the first place." [Sahih Ibn Majah]
